Description
The Hymn, "It is Well With My Soul" was written by Horatio G. Spafford after the death of his four daughters on a transatlantic accident between two shipd and the ruination of him financially after the Great Chicago Fire of October 1871.
Lately it feels like my life is full of ship wrecks and great fires...
It seems like some lessons we have to learn again and again until we learn to let it go. Only then do we find peace.
"When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul."
